J. Douglas Thompson is a painter from Prince Edward County, Ontario. He works in acrylic, depicting various atmospheres caused by the interaction of light with water in all its forms. His works, very personal, are also metaphorical expressions where light symbolizes hope, in juxtaposition with the challenges of life.
